Centeya Canales is a licensed real estate professional in the state of Jalisco with deep local roots and international experience. Born and raised in the Lake Chapala region, she comes from one of the area’s early international families, having relocated from Southern California in the 1970s. Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, Centeya offers her clients a rare combination of bicultural insight, lifelong community knowledge, and professional expertise.

After completing studies in Business and Economics, Centeya began her real estate career in 2006 in Bal Harbour, Miami, working with The Related Group of Florida on the prestigious St. Regis Bal Harbour pre-construction sales. This early exposure to luxury developments established a strong foundation in high-end property marketing, client relations, and investment-focused transactions.

In 2008, Centeya returned to Lake Chapala and joined Lloyd Real Estate, where she worked extensively with both international and national clients through the Focus on Mexico relocation program. As head of the program’s real estate division, she guided hundreds of buyers through the purchase and relocation process. Her role extended beyond sales to include overseeing the construction of custom homes and managing pre-sales in well-known gated communities such as El Dorado, Los Sabinos, Puerta Arroyo, and La Reserva.

She later served as Sales Director for an international luxury hotel brand, further refining her expertise in luxury service standards, high-net-worth clientele, and brand excellence—experience she now brings directly to her real estate practice.

Today, Centeya specializes in luxury and residential sales, pre-construction, rentals, and property management. With a proven track record of hundreds of successful transactions and a high percentage of repeat clients, she is known for her professionalism, integrity, and results-driven approach. She currently works with Lake Chapala Realty in partnership with Neo Agents AI, utilizing international marketing strategies and advanced technology to maximize exposure and value for her clients.
